A Brand Identity Project
I’m building a modern brand identity and digital platform for the City of Dunfermline. Since the city gained official status, there’s been an opportunity to present it in a far stronger, more professional way, especially to visitors before they decide where to go.
Right now, that space feels fragmented and underpowered. I’ve got the design background, the local knowledge, the domains, a custom typeface already in development, and the foundations of the brand strategy.
The first stage is to launch the identity properly through a landing page, socials, a proposal and a full design system. After that, it grows into a bigger platform: directory listings, events, jobs, content, business promotion and digital services.
The aim is not just to make something that looks good. It’s to build a serious platform around Dunfermline that supports local business and creates opportunities for local creatives.
